New batch of modules ready from the Sitecore Shared Source Library

For those of you who don’t regularly check the index list for new modules here are the cool modules that have been added since my last post.

The Persona Switcher is a UI add-on for Sitecore Preview mode which allows content editors to view and edit the current OMS profile.

The module was created by Steve Green who is blogging here and you can download the package at the module’s project room.

The Item Translator uses Google or Bing translate to well translate your item. You can choose to translate a specific item or an entire tree to any of the languages that the two services support. The module was created by Alexander Doroshenko who you can find blogging here and you can visit the project room to download the package and get start translating your site to a number of languages.

You can also see a video here that shows just how easy the module is to use.

The Media Library Policeman module helps you go restrict what files that may and may not be placed a specific folder along with restrictions for how large the files can be.

The module was created by Alex Shyba who is blogging here where he also made a video showcasing what the module can do. You can also  see the video on YouTube and if you want to download the module to start using it you can visit the project room for the module.

And as always if you have a module that you want to contribute with to the shared source library you can send me a mail at jo@sitecore.net.
